One of the Tunnel Boring Machine cutterheads, which is the very front of the TBM, has now arrived in Vancouver.One of two Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) for the Broadway Subway Project that will bore the 5-kilometre-long tunnel portion of this extension to the Millennium Line. So here’s the drill – columns are being installed at the future Oak-VGH station to support the traffic deck that will allow 4 lanes of traffic to be maintained on Broadway.
