Great Northern Way-Emily Carr Station
- This is an update of the notification from June 2, 2022 and we now have revised times for the work timeline
- From June 2 to June 6 and June 9 to June 13, 2022, crews will be finalizing the relocation and tie in of utilities along East 1st Avenue and Carolina Street between Emily Carr and the CDM.
- Some night work may be required to complete this final part of the utilities relocation.

- The Broadway Subway Project Corporation is building the elevated guideway that connects VCC-Clark Station to the future Great Northern Way Station. Construction started December 15th. On January 10, the construction of 21 columns that support the guideway will begin.
- Expect elevated noise during the excavation process.
- Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Occasional nightwork may be required.
- Work is expected to be completed by end of 2022.
Mount Pleasant Station
Night work – Electrical work at the intersection of E. Broadway at Quebec Street (click to view detailed notice)
- BSP will be relocating wires at the intersection of Quebec Street and E. Broadway overnight from June 8th to 9th.
- During this activity, two lanes of traffic will be maintained, one westbound and one eastbound, on E. Broadway through the Quebec Street intersection.
- While this work is not expected to be noisy, residents in the area can expect intermittent elevated noise in the area.

- As part of the excavation beneath the traffic deck, areas of hard rock are being uncovered and there will be elevated noise.
- Residents and businesses in the area can expect intermittent concussive sounds and vibrations emanating from the site during the rock breaking.
- Work will take place between 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Bulk excavation continues to be anticipated for completion in the summer.

Traffic patterns changing around Broadway-City Hall Station as Cambie sewer replacement progresses – Night Work (Click to view detailed notice)

- BSPC is excavating the west side of Cambie south of W. Broadway to install new sewer pipes.
- East-west traffic through the intersection and west towards Ash Street will be reduced to three lanes during weekday days, and one lane in each direction at night and on weekends.
- The lanes available for travel will shift as the excavation moves across the intersection.
- To implement the initial traffic configuration, crews will work overnight on June 10 starting at 8 p.m. through 5 a.m on June 11.
- The sewer relocation activities include daytime and regular night work (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) until the end of summer 2022.
Update: Nightwork to install bypass pipes for utilities on Cambie Street starts June 13 (Click to view detailed notice)
- The notice from Sept. 24, 2021 mentioned this work and we now have an updated schedule to share.
- The installation of bypass pipes on the west side of the intersection of Cambie Street at W. 10th Avenue will be conducted over approximately two weeks at night to minimize traffic disruptions.
- Vehicle access to W. 10th Avenue will be maintained from Ash Street, with W. 10th Avenue temporarily converted to single-lane alternating traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, except for Saturday.

- The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) will be removing a tree in the Broadway-City Hall construction corridor to provide clearance for construction.
- At the southeast corner of Cambie and W. Broadway, BSPC will remove one European Beech (species Fagus sylvatica) between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on May 12th.

- On April 23, traffic will shift onto the newly constructed traffic deck on the north side of W. Broadway between Laurel and Oak streets. BSPC will then begin building the traffic deck on the south side of W. Broadway.
- Part of this work includes re-routing pedestrian access in front of the future Oak-VGH Station entrance on the south side of W. Broadway at Laurel St.

- The traffic deck will first be installed on the south side of W. Broadway and will continue on the north side.
- There will be road modification and electrical work at the W. Broadway intersections of Fir and Granville streets overnight on April 11.

- The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) continues work to relocate a watermain in your neighbourhood on Arbutus St. between W. 10th Ave. and W. Broadway.
- While most work is performed during the day, some night work will be required to minimize impacts on residents, businesses, and traffic.
- During this next phase of work, Arbutus St. will be fully closed between W. Broadway and 10th Avenue beginning Thursday, June 30th at 8 p.m. until Monday, July 4th, at 6 a.m.

Temporary trucking route and pedestrian detours around the future Arbutus Station in effect May 9 (click to view detailed notice)
- The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) is in your neighbourhood preparing for the installation of the traffic deck between Arbutus and Cypress streets.
- During the remainder of surface excavation until the placement of traffic deck panels, the trucking route is temporarily changing. The route is shown in the map attached to the notice in the link above.
- The temporary trucking route will be one-way, westbound, through the laneway between W. Broadway and 10th from Cypress St. to Arbutus St. While the route is in place, the lane will be one-way, westbound only for all vehicles.
- Cypress St. will be one-way only for project trucks, but bidirectional for other vehicles. Left turns onto Cypress St. from W. Broadway will be maintained. Cyclists can continue to use the protected cycling path in both directions.
- Maple St. continues to have restricted access between the laneway to W. Broadway until traffic deck completion.
- The laneway between the greenway and Arbutus St. will be opened to all vehicle traffic to ease congestion during the detour.

Additional Turning Restrictions for Large Tractor Semi-trailers in Effect March 14 at Arbutus and W. Broadway (Click to view detailed notice)
- Beginning March 14, 2022 tractor semi-trailer-type trucks WILL NOT be able to make left hand turns from eastbound and westbound W. Broadway onto Arbutus St.
- This latest restriction is in addition to not being able to make right or left hand turns onto W. Broadway from northbound Arbutus St., in effect since December 19, 2021.
- Access is available via Oak St., Mackenzie/Macdonald streets, or Dunbar St.

- The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) will be in your neighbourhood preparing for major construction work planned in the coming months. As part of this preparation, on-street parking will be removed during non rush periods near the future Oak-VGH, South Granville and Arbutus stations.
- Parking meters will be removed by the City of Vancouver between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking will be unavailable starting as early as June 1, 2021 until the end of project construction in 2025.
